Blur The Line

by Da Vinci

Is it too easy in the Cyberspace,
To only see the good?
To dream, of exotic lives in a better place,
of beautiful bodies and kinder hearts,
and in this soft blue light,
for a different sort of love to start?

Is it wrong to blur the line in favor of the best,
Casting out each fault on mercy's wings?
Is this not the view that we should always vest,
upon those we've trusted with such things?

Is it possible that you could be
a ray of light through broken clouds for me?
Could you fill those spaces never touched
by the one I've promised for eternity?
Could I add just one more drop of love
to compliment the sea of your reality?

Can we create a safer place in which to trust
to touch and feel and laugh
To heal, to cry, or get crazy if we must
all on our own behalf?

I wish to ask
if we might touch each other through this veil,
might see the best, as constant friends
and not the ways we fail?

May we move in places at the edges of our minds
without the risks that "real" relations might define?
I think that in the safety of this world
we might speak more freely, let our wants and needs unfurl.

There could be danger......, do we stir the hand of fate?
Create dissention with our true hopes unfullfilled?
This must not make us want to clear the plate,
But rather be a place for hungers to be stilled.

I promise I will never judge, or mock your hearts desires.
I only wish a deeper touch, a mingling of our hidden fires.
The fantasy/truth we build will be our own creation
of strength, compassion, faith and wild sensations.
Do you wish to share this fantasy of mine?
Are you willing to stir long hidden dreams? To blur the line?

Peace and Love, DaVinci
