Lover's Lake is where we go to escape the hustle and bustle of the Castle.
We pack a lunch; wine, crusty bread, chicken, cheese, and fresh strawberries,
and walk the short distance South to the lakeshore. Under the warm sun we spread
our blanket, relax,
breathe deeply and simply soak in the natural beauty around us.
Sparky and Yin can come, too, if they're not too rambunctious.
They will visit with Lenora, the Sea Serpent, who lives here.
On special occasions,
Lenora will grant us a ride on her back,
with our feet dangling in the water.
We'll go just after sunset,
while Yin flies about and Sparky
lets loose his wildest
fireworks displays!
Looking down,
we can see the light of the
Golden Glow fishes just below the surface.
