Introduction
The
Origin of The Book of Beast
With a bit of chance you found a book titled The Book of
Beast hidden
inside a sheltered cliffwall. Without a second thought
you placed your
right hand on the open pages.
Tingling sensation course through your palm as you are being
pulled into
the page. You
felt a sickening sensation as you coexist in both worlds before
you shimmered into existence in a new area. Silence and
cold.
You found yourself standing in the middle of a massive
octagonal room with
no doors
and lit only from above by a massive beetle-shaped lamp. Pictures
of
jungle beasts decorated the walls. At the very centre
of the room is a raised
circular dais. On top of the
dais is a blue marble table with a single red book
with
an intricate tribal design on the cover. Glancing through
the pages soon
make you realised the book was written
by an unknown author and it contained
Riven most guarded secrets …it is a guide through
Riven!
Looking around the room, your hopes dampened as you cannot
locate any exit.
Scanning through The Book of
Beast in detail, you found a second linking page
which brings you back near the cliffwall. With the guide in
hand you continue
with your missions and try to find a
way home.
NOTE : The guide is done
in 3 sections. The Tips section gives you a good
start
in the game. The Hints section is for those who need help but do not
want
to indulge with any spoilers. The
Walkthrough is for players completely stuck
in completing the game and really want
lots of spoilers. |
