  1. What is Riven?
    Riven is the sequel to Myst, which has sold 3.5 millions copies worldwide
    since its release date in late 1993. Your mission in the game is to help
    Atrus find Catherine and to capture his father, Gehn, in the prison book.
    Gehn created Riven and also called it the Fifth Age. More information on
    the Fifth Age can be found in The Book of Atrus, the novel.
  2. When will Riven be released?
    Riven, published by Cyan, is officially released on the 31st of October
    by Red Orb Entertainment, a division of Broderbund Software. You can
    purchase it in any retail stores or order it online at http://www.riven.com/
  3. What is inside the game box?
    5 CDs and a User's Guide.
  4. What are the system requirements?
    Riven will only run on the specifications shown below

    Windows 95 required
    100MHz Pentium(R) or faster
    16MB RAM
    Minimum 75MB hard disk space
    4x CD-ROM drive or faster
    640x480 display, High Color

  5. How much does Riven cost?
    It cost $99.95 in Australia.
  6. What are the puzzles like in Riven?
    Riven has more of a storyline than Myst and the puzzles are more integrated
    in the story. The puzzles offer non linear gameplay with different levels of
    difficulty.
  7. What about gameplay in hours?
    This will depend on the player and the complexity of the puzzles.
